Making Money Online

So everyday I get on different social media sites, looking at all of the different ways people are trying to make money online. This has become the new trend. No one wants to go out and find a job anymore.

I can’t say that I blame them, if I could make enough online to lose my day job, I would. The problem that I see is that everyone is talking about the same things. There are five online ways to make money that is in almost every post I read. Fiverr being the biggest one.

Then I see people on here talking about passive income streams. I would love this, however, I have quickly realized that not everyone is able to use all of these methods. Some of us don’t have a niche that we are super good at. Some of us don’t have the money to invest to start some of the passive income opportunities that are out there.

I know it sounds like I’m whining, and maybe I am just a little. But I have gone to the online job boards. They are so over saturated that a new person coming in trying to find a way is hopeless.

See the issue that I have is I am a “newbie” to writing for others to consume. I don’t have a niche, I write about what triggers my interests at that given moment. One day I can write about politics, the next I’m writing about the towing industry, and the next I may write about something financial related.

The issue that I run into is that my ADHD does not allow me to stay focused on one thing all the time. I can do it for a bit and then my mind starts wondering elsewhere because I get bored with it. This is one reason why I don’t write on here very often anymore. I can’t find things that interest me to write about.

I used to go through the daily news feeds and try to find something that interested me. I would go through the daily trending feeds and see if there was anything that sparked an interest. I even lost interest in doing that.

My ultimate take away in all of this: Some people are not cut out to be niche specific. This makes it difficult for us to make anything online happen because no one is willing to give us a chance. Mental health is a big challenge for some, and a big hinderance for others.
